Default Using a polarized filter

Thought I would show what the difference is when shooting with a polarized lense. Cost me NZ$129.

The shot with it on reducing the refection and enhancing the colour - taken at our Begonia House, indoors.

Same shot without the filter

and a couple more shots to make up a set of four

The polarize filter definitely makes a huge difference, especially when you remember to turn it which is something I sometimes forget to do. Great shots Bernz.

Very effective demonstration. Were #1 & #2 taken at the same settings or do you have to over-expose a stop or so?

Thanks for sharing. Pretty flowers too!

Does make a huge difference, but what about your Begonia house, that is awesome. There must be more pictures of that you could share. Love the flowers also, did you grow them in your Begonia House?

Great capture Bernz. I have a polariser, but it's quite difficult for me to maximise the benefit because my lens have a rotating end. I have yet to test it with regard to the benefits against non metalic reflections. Your comparison here is really helpful, especially to those thinking to get one.
