Default Sunsets and Seagulls

Sunset from my walk on the beach last night.

This was as close as he would let me get before.

He took off.

Brian, great beach sunset shot! The curves in the sand and footprints all leading to a setting sun...great! Good capture on the gull flying off also. Those shots remind me of a time when I seen a simular situation (gull sitting on a post) I waited and waited but he never did move. Just happens I noticed another gull flying in the scene and snapped just as it flew over top of the other. Good job here, nice walk on the beach!

Thanks dvetter, I do enjoy walking on the beach. I was just lucky this gull didn't mind to much, getting his picture taken

Sun going down, check
Gulls, check
Mix slowly, capture and post, all who view will be stired

Beautiful shots Brian. The sunset is gorgeous and I really like the subdued and tinted light on the gull. Very nice.

Nice set, Brian. I would have to say that the second is my fav for the simplicity of the shot, although the first one is quite spectacular as well, with the nice perspective lines formed by the beach line as well as the clouds. Nicely done.

Beautiful set of photos. #2 is my favorite. I love the warm glow of the setting sun on the gulls belly. Great composition.
