Arrow Weekend in Calgary - I

Here is my 300th post so I thought of starting a new series
(hopefully the Rockies series would continue in parallel) with yet another
panorama shot of Calgary downtown taken from Princess Island
Calgary downtown is quite beautiful, with crowded streets with lots of hustle and bustle, densely built building,
very confusing traffic with Trams(called C-Trains), buses, cars
running on the same road side by side

Unfortunately it was too sunny at the time i took this shot and i had -2 EV flash compensation which I'd forgotten to reset before taking the pano getting only a silhouette of buildings. After spending some time with it on photoshop on it i got some colors in the picture. I'll try doing a HDR with this and see if i get better results and re post it sometime

Sorry no HDR, my laptop runs out of RAM every time i try

Wow. What a great shot of a fantastic city. Everytime I've been there it had been blanketed in snow. Still beautiful.

A lovely panoramic! Can't wait to see how it turns out in HDR too. I've only been "through" Calgary - basically the airport! I'd love to see it properly, along with the rest of western Canada. Actually anywhere in Canada!

Nice cityscape AC, I like your picture and how you've captured the enormity and inevitable claustrophobia of a large and busy conurbation
And congratulations on 300 posts my friend, I remember when you started and you've come a long way, nice job
