Default I need feedback for this one.

I've shot and pp this photo but I have received different feedback from my friends.
I know the picture is complex and it might look strange, (it looks like a pattern) but this was my goal.
I would appreciate some feedback since here you guys seem to be more professional than my friends .

the link of my photo.

I think it looks noisy and lacks a specific topic or subject. Can you tell us a bit more about your goal?

I love the reflection...it is busy, but it looks like a great place.

The subject is nature itself,

Ps. Why do you think it is noisy?
(I've increased local contrast)

Personally, I like the high contrast and your composition. I would actually push the contrast more seeking to make a bas relief. Try adding more contrast and even some more noise to see what you get from it.

If your only concern was to create a pattern, then you accomplished it. But I can see what sybren means. There is no focal point, nothing for the eyes to rest on.

I really like it. The contrast is great, the reflection is gorgeous. I love the dark tree trunks. Yes, there is no focal point, but I don't think that always is necessary, depending on what your goal is. Even with no focal point, I still find myself staring into to image, getting lost in the pattern.

also I tried to do sth special, not to obey the "rules" of photography, it is not meant to be beautiful. it is meant to be sth special
