I've shot and pp this photo but I have received different feedback from my friends.
I know the picture is complex and it might look strange, (it looks like a pattern) but this was my goal. I would appreciate some feedback since here you guys seem to be more professional than my friends .the link of my photo. Nature on Flickr - Photo Sharing! |

If your only concern was to create a pattern, then you accomplished it. But I can see what sybren means. There is no focal point, nothing for the eyes to rest on.

I really like it. The contrast is great, the reflection is gorgeous. I love the dark tree trunks. Yes, there is no focal point, but I don't think that always is necessary, depending on what your goal is. Even with no focal point, I still find myself staring into to image, getting lost in the pattern.
