Default Water Drops / Ice Cubes

Some water drops I tried today with food coloring. Then I dropped some ice cubes in. Later thought about using sprite with the ice, oh well. These are very addictive by the way!

These are amazing. I tried water drops once... and I mean once. Perhaps its time to give it another try. Love your shots. Thanks for sharing.

New to all of this so forgive me if this sounds stupid, but did you shoot on continuous mode to "catch" it at the right time?

I am new too haha, but I shot single mode. I didn't think the flash would fire for each one (maybe I should try). I just had to time it right. I took probably 30 shots and those are the 4 I liked.

Single shot! That's even more impressive. I recently put together a white box, or light box, or whatever it's called (the instructions were on this site) I may have to try this out this weekend. Your shots look great!

The first water drop was in a glass with a white cutting board behind it and the second was a white bowl. The ice was a clear glass with my flash under it and a black cd case behind it.
