For the first time since i owned my Sony Alpha Digital SLR camera i used The Bulb Setting on my camera. Unfortunately i do not have a Cable release for my camera yet.So i did this series of pictures by using my hand.I used a tripod as well.I climbed the stairs to the top of the roof of our Boiler House. As you can read in my posting i work in a Power Station. Our station is out of commission currently so i had time to take this pictures.I pressed the shutter button halfway to focus and after that fully and held the shutter in till i saw some lightning strike. As soon as the lightning striked i released the shutter button. So here is 2 pictures so long.

I captured this in Tshwane which is still called Pretoria. The Power Station is situated to the west of Pretoria. The buildings to the right of the lightning is the City Pretoria or as the new name will be Tshwane. Regards Christo |
