Default 2012 - Sparda Edition

2012 Sparda Edition (un-Special Edition), just to get into the fuzz over 2012 that's going on lately. It has the Apocalyptic feel to it, I guess.

I took this shot a couple of weeks ago. It was one of my last few shots of the day before my battery died on me.
I like to experiment on some of my shots, sometimes up to 3 or 4 version of the same shot, ACR processing and HDR processing.

Yes I know a lot of you guys hate over-processed HDR images. Anyway.... This is one of the result of my experiments. No photo manipulations. Just simple HDR. My own little Frankenstein.

2012 SE

I attached also the SOOC shot.

..nice shot and good job on the PP..the sky in the SOOC is a bit overblown and the HDR technique turned it into a beautiful one..you managed the Apocalyptic effect successfully..it's as if the sky opened..also, it looks natural..so no worries there..it doesnt have the over-the-top HDR effect (i like HDR..even extreme ones..has a surreal effect to it)..tnx for sharing..

Thanks Jenny. Extreme HDR always gives a dramatic effect on pictures, and I do love them. However, I normally use HDR to give a punch to my shots, and it's barely noticeable as HDR.

..phfft..i can't even manage a decent HDR.. my overblown skies are thrown into the bin..your HDR shots are really subtle (like the one in the converging line of the paddy field)..cant even tell..

I think you're already doing just great without HDR...

Hey Sparda. I love the HDR image. Not over-processed at all, and way nicer than the original. Good job, my friend! You are on the right track, and it is what i like in an HDR image...One that does not look HDR! Take care.
