Default First Maternity Shoot Ever...

I was asked by a friend of mine to take some pics of her sister - who is pregnant with her first baby. Any feedback would be appreciated :-) Thanks!

The second pic is the only one that i feel drawn to as a mat pic , I have a had a baby in the last year and know how important and proud of my bump i was.

The last pic is lovely of the couple and would probs show them to see what they think, i actualy would prefer it without the bump, as his eyes make him look really in love.

I dont know what it is about 1st pic, have you tried B/W ?? I seem to focus on her top more than the heart and bump , try cropping it a bit more to focus on main aspect .

i hope i dont sound to critical , they are nice pics , giving my opinion from a new mum piont of view.

Hope this helps , sorry if you feel ive been over critical.

Thank you for your feedback.

I do have the first pic in black and white on my flickr - I wasn't sure which I liked better.

So far, they love all of the pics. This is her first pregnancy - and most likely her only one. They were looking for some special pics to remember it by :-)

Thank you all so very much. I haven't done portraits much at all, so I was a nervous wreck going into it LOL

For such an important photo shoot, your couple chose well in selecting you. I love your creativity in chosing so many different ways to feature the pregnancy. The first, is mom's personal love letter to her baby, #2 is welcome to the family and 3/4 are a tribute to the love that brought this little one into being. Very nicely done.
