Hey everyone!
Just got my D90 yesterday so I'm still getting used to the Nikon brand. My last camera was a Canon EOS 10D. Here's a couple of shots I took today. It's been cloudy and rainy here in Baltimore so I've been trying to expose my shots correctly in this incredibly dim light. My favorite is the second picture down. Tell me your favorite in the comments + any suggestions you may have. If you need to see metadata click the photo and look for the More properties link on Flickr. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Thanks a lot for the encourgement! Do you think the Nikon 50mm f/1.8D AF Nikkor Lens would be a good buy for me? It's cheap and people say it takes great low light and portrait photography.
One last thing, for some reason I forgot to put a link to my Flickr page in my signature. You can see some others photos: HERE (main page) and HERE (D90 only set)

Welcome to DPS, Niccapo! Great shots! You're off to an excellent start. I like the leaf in the water, and how the water tension really is defined. I like the basketball shot too..well composed. You've got good DOF on the wind chimes too! Well done, and thanks for sharing!

Thanks again!
I took a couple more photos today. I'm really getting the hang of how the settings work on the D90. Live view is nice for framing shots but the viewfinder is where it's at for more advanced settings. Take a look below. Personally, I really enjoy the simplicity of the first two pictures. ![]() ![]() ![]()
