Default Leafanatic

Today's post is a tribute to leaves. I know some of you are just 'sucker for leaves' (Yes Jennie, I know you are one of them). Coincidentally I have a series of leaves shots in my locker.

We don't have 4 seasons here. There's just two, wet & dry seasons. However, other than that, we do have a lot of fruit seasons , eg, duku, langsat, rambutan, and local's favourites, the durian season.

What a great series, Sparda. Leaves are certainly a favorite subject here. I'll be willing to bet this set will spur others to share their leaf shots. While I appreciate each separate photo, it is their commonality that just makes your post so terrific. Thanks!

Haha..i am from the Philippines and being tropical, like Malaysia, we only experience wet and dry season..duku langsat, rambutan and durian are also abundant here..(we call duku langsat as lansones..the two others are the same)..now I am thinking that rambutan would really look great in macro..hmmn..

Note: I constantly whine about having two seasons but Patrick (pjflan) said that he would prefer our wet season that their ‘cold’ one..

I enjoyed this set so much!
You have found the way to be successful where may others have failed. In this set the beauty of the simple things is enhanced by the frame, light, PP, composition and presentation.
This is really good! Thanks.

Love the perspective with all of these fantastic leaf shots. The colours are vibrant and the dof is great. TFS
