these are some of my favorite shots. I am still learning how to use my XSi but this is what I have pulled off so far. My cats are usually my victims as I kind of hold them hostage ya know?

Very nice. I like the perspective in the first one - not often do I see a photo where I'm looking up at a cat.

Thanks so much for the vote of confidence Chip. Im so new at this I dont really have much confidence in myself. I will post a couple more. I would love to hear what you think! All of these I wish I had opened up the depth of field more.

Thanks. That dock shot was hard because I dont have a tripod. It was hard to hold it still enough. I have a few different ones in that theme. One sec.

if I could just figure out how to properly set up my camera these shots would have been so much better. maybe showing them will help me figure out whats wrong.

Nice pictures. The first is my favorite. It has a interesting quality of making its viewers (at least, me) curious to know what the cat is looking at. Nice perspective also.

These are lovely shots of the cat and the sunset is wonderful. Keep trying...that' show we all figure it out...pay attention to what's said on here...we're all here to learn
