Default Pheasant and other birds

Good Morning DPS family. I off to the wetlands this morning, to see if I can capture some bird shots. But would like to share a few I've taken,

Yesterday I wanted to get some pictures of the rice being harvested near work, but they are not ready yet, but I did see this guy, unfortunately I didn't have the right lens with me, but I did manage to get a pretty clear shot of this little beauty sneaking along the river bed.

Male Pheasant

This one was from a few weeks ago, along the bay.

Sand Piper:

This is an interesting little guy, I'm not sure what he is, but I was really a long ways away and so you'll have to forgive the quality.

And finally, a sunset thru the trees, It was late and I used Manual settings trying to get the Silhouette look to it.

Well I'm off the the wetlands. I hope you enjoy these and Have a Blessed Day!

Can't wait to see more. Love, love, love the shadow of the bird in the second shot.

Good set my friend, haven't seen a pheasant in 25 years or so and didn't know they were there. Good luck on the hunt, break out the rocket launcher.

I've seen a few here, usually as they dive into the brush, but this guy was out in the open, Wish I would have had more lens at the time. I got some nice shots of him flying, but theyare so small. Thanks for the Kind Comments my Friend!

Great bird shots. Except for the pheasant I have never seen the other two before, they are cool. I love the sunset with the tree silhouette. TFS
