A cute Visitor

My daughter seen this little guy on the side of our house when we were waiting for the school bus one morning. I looked him up and it's actually uncommon for him to be in such an open space. This species of newt is considered a cave dweller, to my knowledge we don't have any good caves near us so not sure how this guy lost his way. But I was grateful for his patience with me as he did not find my presence disturbing!

believe it or not its poisonous !! I was glad I didn't upset him cause I freaked when i read that lol when it feels threatened it shakes its tail similar to a rattle snake and emits some kind of poisonous secretion from its skin! So it was defiantly a great find
