Default experimenting with High Key and Low Key

I actually dig shooting like this I have found it very tricky to get the balance right, but I think I got close:

High Key (Alicia, a performer from the Peaks and Pasties Burlesque troupe)

Low Key (Jodi, a long time friend and fellow rabble rouser)

Really like the high key shot! Not sure about the second one though.

Thanks for posting this, they came out great! Would you mind describing how you shot the high key piece? I was trying to do something similar this weekend and just couldn't figure it out. Perhaps a post in the "How I Took It" section?

Your help would be seriously appreciated :-)

I'm not sure to be honest. Something about it just doesn't do it for me. Just a personal preference thing I guess. Not saying it's a bad pic by any means. I should have clarified that in my first post. Sorry!
