It has and this is not me doing some PP work.
The facade of the Wellington City Gallery has been turned into artwork called 'Dots for Love and Peace, 2009', which was designed by Yayoi Kusama. All 900 hand dots were hand placed. It tooks weeks to put them in place. Kusama, who rarely leaves Japan, designed the project using architectural drawings of the gallery. The whole process to print the vinyl, cut the dots and apply to the building took three weeks, working 10 hour days, six days a week. Angela and I spotted this on our 5 hour walk around town on Wednesday. So colorful and cheerful! How fun! I wouldn't want to be one of the people applying them.

I so need to go down there before they decide to take them down (or the weather does it). I saw that the other day on a news story and told myself that, and now seeing your photos reminded me of that fact. Great shots! It's such a fun subject!

Hi Bernz what great photos of a very strange subject, how long are they to leave the dots on before they peel them off?
Great work, very interesting. Glyn

Great Post Bernz, it looks like a lot of preparation and work went into accomplishing this, I guess my question would be why????? but then I suppose It's just a matter of taste?
Great captures of what I would consider a waste of time and money. The Project, not your photos. l.o.l Thanks for sharing these Michael.
