although I was inches away. Strange.

uh, huh ... suuuure. You put a dab of super glue on that twig when you saw it flying around ...

kidding, of course!

Another great dragonfly shot! They (and their close relatives) are some of my favorite insects to see photographed!

I've clearly never actually seen a dragonfly up close - I had no idea they came in such shocking colors! Lovely!
