Although I am not a real fan of strong vignette. The picture maybanefit from a little softer finishing.

I think I agree with you guys on the vignette. I liked it at first, but now that I've been looking at this for a few weeks, I think it's way overdone and takes away from the picture. Here's the shot without.

Well, the fact is I really like both of these alot. The first does seem to suffer from a little too much post production. That is to say that the vignette kind of dominates and therefore detracts from the image. At the same time, I think if you reduced the vignette, you could still get a moody feel without detriment to the image. It looks like it could be one of those posters with the inspirational quote on them.
![]() The second one looks like it could be from the pages of National Geographic or a National Park brochure. Crisp and clear... what more could you ask for? Thanks for sharing.
