Default Busted

I snuck up along a fence and got within 20yards of this doe and when i raised up to take a shot....................busted. I got my shot though.

Unfortunately i had to have the iso cranked up to 1250 . A solid rest on a fence post at 1/13s shutter and a burst at 3.5 frames / second got this shot.

wow this is good must have had lotsa patience to catch this one .ha i remember when i waited just 20 mns for my dog to go in the position i wanted.to bad you couldn't have caught the shot with a faster shutter speed(i suppose you couldn't)it might have made the shot a bit clearer well i don't know if it would have made it look a whole lot better.thanks for sharing!

Thanks itheniks..............her coat was eaten up pretty bad from the bugs and i thought it looked more presentable in black and white. Here is the color version .

Nicely done, Prime! I like the B&W version. It shows off the light falling on the deer's right side and back. The grasses and blooms have caught the light as well and added a sparkly, kind of magical feel to the image.

Default Better Than Hunting!

I love to hunt, but this way more people can shot the same deer. This is a wonderful shot and the high ISO is no problem at all. Well done.
