Default Strip off and .............................................

.................. take a dive. Yes this is what the youngsters do on the wharf - they just strip off to their undies and dive off into the harbour - boys and girls ( usually in groups ). Always attracts interest. The water was still quite cold but this does not stop them.

Wellington Harbour

Water Whirler - comes on ever hour for about 5 minutes and whirls in all directions.

Strip off and..... have fun........what a great way to chill out with a group of mates in Wellington harbour.
The Water Whirler is unusual, proabably functional rather than fun athough I'm not sure why.
The last is intertesting going for a ride with bodyelectric. And my other favourite apart from the first is the third one
I'm sure I just saw this orange bloke outside the pub tonight as I was coming home
Great set bernz

After seeing all your wonderful photos of NZ I can understand why my friends don't want to move back to the States.

Thank you so much for sharing! I fully plan on taking a trip out that direction in the next few years, even if I don't get anyone to go with me. Your photos just convince me even more I want to!

All are great photos but the first one is a winner for me. I could spend all day looking at the many different things going on in it. Your timing was perfect with the guy leaping into the water. My eyes are also drawn to the guy standing on one leg and the girl bending over, I wonder what she is looking at? So much to see in the one shot. One of the most interesting action shots I have ever seen, it would be a great photo to make into a puzzle.

Thanks Beach - you have got it right it is fun, for them anyway. You can get quite close to the water whirler but you don't know what is going to happen - you certainly do a minute or so later as it spreads it's wings and you get wet. As for that orange bloke you would have seen many of them around and it was not as a result of you having too much at the pub. Cheers, Bernz
