Default What are these?

I took these flower pics at my Mom's house. They only bloom around this time of year. Does anyone know what they are? Thanks for looking.

Can't answer you question I'm afraid but these are beautiful sharp captures! What amazing flowers... better than the dandelions in my back yard...

I have these flowers in my yard too. I think it's called a "Spider Lilly". I haven't seen any in my yard for some time now but about two years ago i got to snap a few when they started sporadically popping up in the spring. Hope you don't mind me sharing one of mine. Great shots of a very unique flower! Kimi

I don't know the name either, but Spider Lilly sounds right, we have these in South Korea as well, this one was taken on the top of the mountain named Chongoksa, a popular hikeing area near here. Heres a snapshot it took several years ago.

Your pictures are lovely and well presented.
Thanks for sharing these
Michael.

Thanks, my Mom wanted me to find out what they were. Your shot is beautiful. I will try to get more shots but will have to wait until next year.

Oo and very nice and crisp pictures. They are very cool plants, wish we got them here in Alaska.
