Default Back to School Pencils

I have been experimenting with some macro shots of pencils and the results are on flickr,

Your dof is quite nice. I like how the big guy in the middle is so crips and clear and the others are not. Kind of a king with his harem.
Ok, so i am a bit off kilter today, sorry

Default Great shot!

Great shot. I love the backlight from the sun. It really shows off the peach fuzz of a newly sharpened pencil. Nice work.

Thanks, I actually used a flexible desk lamp as the light source and experimented with different angles etc.
