Default Reflections, Reflections, Reflections...

Yesterday we had a most awesome day at a model boat show on the Gilmore Lake, Waihi NZ. There were boats of every shape a size, and I have captured but a few of these very intricately built models of the genuine vessels.

"Strathmore" P&O Ocean Liner

This was "The Boat" of the show with everything crafted so minutely and with such precision.

Model Frigate at boat display.

I hope you enjoy.

The reflections are gorgeous! You did a wonderful job capturing these amazing boats. I can't beleive they are only models.

Extremely well done! I too am having a hard time believing they are models. They look so real.

Thanks Bernz. Having the bigger camera back is great, and with a little more practice....here's hoping....

Thank you Gottasnap. These were amazing exhibits, and so professionally crafted.

Thanks Mike. The intricate detail in some of these models was unbelievable, especially the "Strathmore" exhibit. The Frigates HMNZS Canterbury (F421) & HMNZS Waikato F55 were also very proffessionally crafted. It was a great day out.

Thanks heaps Dave. It was just such an interesting day, I had to share though probably not all that many people are into model boats. The intricacy was what amazed me...every little detail was there in the miniature.
