Default Eastern State Penitentiary

Had the day off so I went over to the Eastern State Penitentiary for some photo action. I live 15 minutes away! The penitentiary opened in 1829 and closed in 1971. In the 1920's, this is where Al Capone spent his time. Today its a museum and you can even rent it out for fashion and wedding shoots! They say the place is haunted...

haircut anyone?

First shot is stunning!

How about a little project? Go back to where you took this from and put the vanishing point (centre of the current shot) at top right third, bottom left third.... etc so you have a group of five ( c TL TR BL BR). Then go to one of the sid walkways (or both but from this shot the look symmetrical) and shoot the same five shots using the centre of the previous shoot as your focal point.

I've been meaning to try this for a while but I don't have a suitably lighted tunnel nearby.

Hi there,
love the atmosphere in these images, really spooky yet the sort of place every aspiring photographer would want to try and capture as well as you have. Really nice job on the lighting and composition.
Thanks for sharing.
David.
