Beautiful Hayward! You are a master of perspective as well as DOF. This is a masterpiece!
This brings back great memories of Golf outings in Calif. Early morning mist on the ground, Teeing off, then following the the ball flight as it disappears into the mist. Walking up the fairway leaving foot prints in the Dew and in finding your ball laying in the wet grass.
Thanks for sharing this Hayward
Michael

A picture that only a dedicated golfer could take! I hope your golf shots were as good as your photo shot.

Great shot, Hayward. I miss the kaplop of the ball in the cup. Nothing else sounds like that. I haven't played in years, maybe one of these days I get the clubs out again.

As I said on Flickr it's a great image without the title but the title completes it. At first glance it's a great landscape/sky shot. lots of interest there. The title makes me look for the lone golfer who, TBH I would probably have seen as a defect if I hadn't been looking for him. Mostly I'm in the Ansel Adams camp whereby the image has to speak for itself but now and again I think that the image and the caption/text have to be taken together. Nice work Hayward

What a vista Haywood. You would have to feel marvelous no matter how you played walking around in scenery like this.

Out first thing in the morning working on the game by oneself in the mist....now that's dedication. Excellent shot. the mist really makes the photo.
