Hello,
I am new to this site and I love photography. I try to take my camera everywhere for that once in a lifetime shot. Well, one of my passions is taking storm shots especially at night. Here are a couple of my favorite storm shots. Let me know what you think. The first shot is from a Canon Rebel 35mm camera outside the town of San Angelo, TX. The second picture is from a Canon Rebel Digital SLR outside the town of Eunice La. Now, I got the night lightning down pretty good. It's daytime lightning I have problems with. The shutter can't stay open or the picture is washed out really bad. I tried putting my setting on sport, holding the release button down and letting it take as many pictures as possible, with no luck. Any tips? Thanks, John |

WELCOME to DPS
I have no advice for you as I've been trying for years....really thought this year with added knowledge and a digital camera I would be able to do it...but monsoon pooped out on us way too soon, so no luck for another year. Your shots are pretty good...just keep working at it, and perhaps someone else on here can give you advice.
