Default It's weird I know

Went out on the patio the other night and there sat my reading chair in the dark of the night, lit only by the lights from the living room. I thought it looked pretty cool so out I go with camera and tripod. Maybe not a great picture but I like the glow and I'm always happy to see a dark shot that turns out nicely focused and exposed.

Thanks for looking.

Well done Jul, and how much cooler it might look with a person sitting there.
Someone half profile, sitting, reading/ drinking/ sleeping/ thinking/ whatever, in the same glow from the house on one side, and in shadow on the other.
If you can get the light and shade just right..... just a thought

Thanks for the comments guys. That's a cool idea Beach. Maybe next time I'll go plop down while the self timer is counting down.

Angeleyes your neighbors probably think the same as my family does...what is she doing now? But hey it entertains me.

Have a good day!

What's weird about it? I think it's a very nice shot.

Thank you! Sometimes the things that strike me, that I think, wow I wonder if I could get a shot of that, just seem weird. It's always fun trying and when they turn out, even more so.
