So how full are the gardens of flowers? After the last few days of wicked weather (doesn't feel like spring to me!), I was a bit worried we'd be left with very few flowers. That first shot is really pretty.

Hi Nicole - I will pop up again today to see how they are. We have had two days of strong winds - up to 100kph. Took this one of the harbour yesterday - different to the glass harbour last week. Cheers, Bernz

Bernz that first one is a gorgeous gem. We have got the wind up here like you have had, so looking at these beautiful summery flowers is a pleasure.

Thanks shelties - well it is about to bloom season here NZ so you should see more shots in the not too distant future. I have previously been a keen gardener but now leave the hard work to others and just take my camera with me to takes shots of what I think is the best. Cheers, Bernz
