Default The aftermath

We had a tornado touch down last night .. scary evening to say the least .. no one hurt here .. this is near our downtown core ..

Defiantly a bad sign ...

You answered the important qusestion Ian, and I'm glad no one was hurt, but some properties clearly had the shit kicked out of them.
Isn't tornado season earlier in the year, so hopefully this is a one off event, not that it minimises the distress and emotional and financial cost to those effected.
Its good that you photographed and posted the outcomes, we should never take the power of nature for granted. Cheers Ian, take care of the family

Whoooaaa that looks bad Ian. I'm with Steve. Glad no one was hurt. Thanks for showing us the damage. It is a real eye opener. We don't get them here thank goodness.

Oh my goodness! That scares me just looking! I can't even begin to imagine how scary that was actually being there. Glad noone was hurt!

Thx buddy .. we're actually in the bad half up here.. it's our cold fronts that meet the hot ones pushed by the hurricanes in the south east that cause these more often than not..

We were on tornado warning last night as rotations where spotted but thank goodness we didnt get hit...these show the force of these things..not fun for sure...glad no one was hurt.
