Default Maternity shoot

I was lucky enough to get to do some maternity portraits for one of my friends last week. She is expecting her first baby girl in October. Here are a few that turned out to my liking...mostly.

The third one could have used a lighter background, with her dark blue dress and the dark bark of the tree, she blends in too much with the background, otherwise good shots

I like the creativity of the first one and I like the light splashing onto her baby bump in the second one, it highlights her shape.

Thank you. It was at a park. Lots of pretty settings there.

I agree. I am very much a beginner and I didn't notice until I got home. I did however, do much better than I usually do about noticing possible problems while I was still there so I am learning! Hoping I can do a little PP to help that one out some.

The first one I love! It wasn't my idea though so I can't take credit. I saw it either on here or flickr and thought it was a cool idea. The second one, total accident with the light but I like it too!

The first one is definately my favorite. With the baby shoes in the foreground, it anticipates what mom is looking forward to. Very lovely.

The composition and focus of the first one is really unique and cute
