I took these photos on the way to Port Waikato yesterday.

I love roosters and this one was very tame and came right up to me for his photo to be taken.

The first two are lovely Angela and the composition and framing are so good. The rooster is so colourful and so much detail and I always love the countryside shot with the sheep and so much like here in England. Lovely work once again Angela.

Beautiful set Angela. Good thing that rooster was friendly. Did you see the spurs on his legs? He could have done some damage. LOL

Well you have done it again - excellent shots. Good mixture here showing your skills with photography - good composition. My pick is the last one but difficult to pick one out. Cheers, Bernz

Thanks Dave, even though I live in rural NZ I never get tired of seeing the green grass and the farm animals grazing.

Thanks sheltiesmama, yes I was very lucky he was friendly. We pulled into a carpark area to take photos of the bridge and there were three roosters wandering around.

Thanks Bernz, practise makes perfect they say. I try to take photos of a variety of things to practise different settings.

Hi AngelB - great shots. The rooster is bright and vibrant, and I like the way the frame sets off the bridge. Awesome... even better is that they are pictures I can relate to as they are "just down the road". Thanks for sharing.
