A bit of Texas
Got these shots in the last few days. (Its a miracle, no dog shots! ;-)
Oil well behind my house (no its not mine ;-) not the best shot in the world, but I kind of liked the silhouette.  This is a BBQ place up the road. It was featured on that show...DIners and Dives (somthing like that) I want to go back at night and take a pic of the front of the place, lots of neon etc...  just liked this sign.  and the front of the old truck, and my first dabble with HDR ;-) it was kind of fun!

Hi there Stella,
Cracking images, I really like them a lot. I love the color and lighting and sharpness of them all but I really like the HDR effect on the last image, Your work is really nice and I look forward to seeing more soon. Thanks for sharing them, David

harrypalmer044, thanks! I really like the truck too. I wasn't all that thrilled with HDR to begin with, but if done subtly, I kind of like it. And it really seems to lend itself to old stuff/things, which I like.
CBpix, I know it did you notice that it doesn't even say, BBQ 'and' antiques ;-) thier BBQ is pretty good though. |
