Default Bazaar

I took some guests to the Bostanli Bazaar today, and hauled along my new 35mm prime too. Here are some results:

Pide

This man made me promise to print out his photo and bring it to him next time I came! (I said I'd try.)

Gozleme

Gevrek

Overall, my second experience with street-ish photography went rather well, even if I didn't manage to get a decently exposed shot of the sock man. (He's famous around these parts.)

Comments appreciated, especially advice on how to work the 35mm prime!

you don't need any advice on how to use that glass .. judging from these images, you're doing great .. tiny tip - since you're in to street photography, try not to have your subjects posing - catch them at what they're doing ..more natural reactions that way

I think you did a great job with the new glass. With street photography it is nice to catch the subject unaware that you are there, try to blend into the background and catch them in a more natural setting. Although I do like the posed look here.

Thank you! I was unsure of how to achieve the 'unposed' look, seeing as I asked permission before shooting and people over here are VERY keen on posing for photos. As with everything, this is a learning experience, I suppose.

They were very obliging indeed, and a real confidence booster where asking people for photos is concerned.

So it is true that 35mm prime lenses are also great for photography for these subjects are very well focused with great DoF. Thanks for sharing.
