Default Nalgene as Gel, Wall as Reflector

I was experimenting with lighting in my kitchen tonight and came up with something that I liked. Using a fuchsia Nalgene bottle as a gel, I put some utensils on top of my microwave (after cleaning off the top of it). The flash and bottle are out of frame on the right. The microwave sits in a corner, which allowed me to use the wall on the left as a big reflective source. I was pretty surprised with how much I liked the results.

That's very creative...I haven't done too much of that experimenting with lighting yet...but I will when things slow down for me...can't wait.

Great job of Ghetto lighting. Darn, my Nalgene bottles are clear!

Thanks, guys...it definitely makes me want to do more experimenting with simple things around the house. The possibilities seem endless....too bad my time doesn't. Speaking of which, back to my spreadsheets...
