Not bad...better than my first try. Keep at it, I am. Unfortunately we only have a very short time of the year in which to do it, and it's almost gone and it's been a dud this season.

You have done well. I am waiting eagerly, it is almost our storm season and I have never taken a picture of lightening, If I have the success you have had I will be happy.

I think these are marvelous and if you are planning on just getting better I cannot wait to see what you capture next.

Nice. I've never been able to catch lightning in the act yet... but one day soon.

This is really good for your first lightning capture. I haven't tried yet but when I do I hope they turn out this good.

Hehehe...

Thanks all for taking a look and for the comments. Looking forward to seeing any of your lightning shots. Here's one more that I managed to get somewhat in frame.

Bolts

I hope to get more, better quality ones in the future. Big thunderstorm fan here...

Not too bad for a first try, Bryan. Lots of my first tries (on many topics, haven't tried lightning yet) weren't good enough to post, but these certainly are! Now that you have some practice, I'm looking forward to the next shots
