Driving around the Hutt Valley on Sunday we stopped at the Petone Beach where we could get a good view of Wellington. Petone Beach is where the settlers arrived in Wellington, New Zealand in 1840 and my great-great-great grandfather was one of them arriving with his wife and two children from Scotland.

You really do take some great photographs Bernz. This is another excellent set and in particular I like the panoramic view in the second on and the people on the beach give it great perspective. Great composition in all of them too. This really is super work my friend.
Dave.

Beautiful shots Bernz. It is such a lovely beach...walked it on several occasions when staying with a friend in Upper Hutt. To feel the wind blowing through one's hair, filling the lungs with good sea air and taking in the beautiful view at the same time...AWESOME!
