Lovely location and lovely pictures Bill.
I like that angles as well, good postion and good light make these excellent pictures.

Thanks Beach, I thought I would try something different with the first one, so it was down on my knees, not a good idea at my time of life.

I love shots with grass in the foreground so the first one is great for me. The second is quite pleasing as well. I love the texture of the stone and the earthy colors against the blue sky.

Bill, I love the framing of the castle with the wonderful grass in the foreground. I'm kind of nutty about grasses anyway. To have it frame--almost announce--a Scottish castle is the best. I like, too, the layers from grass to unfurled flag. Several have said they like the angle on the turrett. Me, too, and I also like the wonderful stonework. Great work!
