Default *First Wedding Shoot!*

So my sister got married two weeks ago and i had the unenviable responsibility of being both the matron of honor and the photographer. This was my first ever wedding shoot, and I'd love to get some thoughts on some of these pictures - i think i did alright! comments, thoughts, suggestions welcome! thanks! oh, and feel free to check out the other pictures i uploaded to flickr and comment on those as well!

You are so creative! Her wedding photos will certainly be unique...and good! I especially like the second one, although the fellow 2nd from the right looks like he's bearing all the weight. I'm amazed that you were able to be matron of honor and photographer and be able to produce such fine images! You did your sister proud.

thanks mike (and to all the commenters so far!) i told them when i took the shot to make it look like they were really workin' it! so he probably just did a better job of making the face. i love the one all the way to the left who is holding her toe and looks anguished!

she comes back from her honeymoon this weekend, so i guess we'll see what she thinks when she gets back it sure was a tough day!!

yeah i wouldn't recommend double duty to anyone! i had help for the church shots (which i haven't posted any of) from my uncle. it was a very busy hectic day, but it worked out. plus, i got some experience for the next time someone hires me for some wedding day photography
