Default Personal Jesus

http://Photobucket

I met Willie, an old man wandering the national park in Manila. blue eyes and long beard He talked to me about God:

Willie: What is your religion?

I wanted to change the topic to avoid any clash of individual differences. i personally think religion is not a good topic of discussion.

Me: I believe that there is a God.

Willie: A wise person believes in God.

The short talk was enough to make me realize things i haven't thought of in a long time. This man is my personal Jesus

What an effecting photo! Those eyes--so piercing. As piercing as his questions, I guess. And what character lines in his face. You have quite an amazing photo. I'm so glad you shared it!

Great Portrait! Willie has a lot of character and Probably a lot of stories to tell.
His question was thought provoking and I'm glad that it caused you to pause and think about your answer. A personal relationship with Jesus is a Wonderful discovery!
Thanks for Sharing this
Michael.

Outstanding photograph. Very evocative image. I hope Willie talked about a relationship rather than a religion. It makes all the difference! Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful image. and thought provoking on so many levels - whether or not one is a "believer."
