Default getting back to happy ;)

I haven't really been on DPS very much though i love this site and the people here. I haven't had anything to share really because i hadn't even touched my camera for maybe a month. Things can get pretty heavy in life and when i should've been hanging on tight to the things that bring me happiness (photography) i was letting go of them, a mistake i will try to remember not to make again. I went to a lake with my older sister and my niece, Kaylea, and my husband the other day... these pics are from that day. Had fun, it was very HOT but that's to be expected since this is Alabama. Hope you like.

This particular little girl makes me so happy! just being around her brings me joy

i could have set this up a little better but i was hot and i was not thinking too clearly ha ha

see Andy, I take lone leaf shots too! it just came floating by as i was soaking my feet
DSC_0489
this one i took of a very fairytale-looking pond. There was this beautiful tree leaning over it with yellow leaves, just seemed magical

Thanks for looking,

Kimi

Hi Kimi, welcome back! I've been wondering where you were and I've been missing you. Nice series, but I especially like the last one. It does indeed look magical.

Very nice shots. I, too, like the last one and the little girl looks like she's load of fun.

Thank you Mike! just getting way to caught up in life. I think i should take that last one and play a little in photoshop with it, maybe take out the power line in the top left and the white tree trunk i think detracts from that magical looking tree. I'm missed all of you too.
