Default Kansas sunflowers

I have lived in Kansas my whole life, and this is the first time I have taken a picture at a sunflower farm. I have really missed out...

sunflower 8

Love the shots I got, hated the mosquitos the size of the bees flying all around me

Nice sunflower in the foreground, plenty more in the background set against a bright blue sky and some great clouds. well done.

Thanks for the compliments. I think my biggest disappointment is the fact that the bees on the sunflower are the exact color of the flower, so it is hard to see them. I do plan to go back, with some bugspray.

Awesome! I've been trying to get a good sunflower shot from a field of them near here...but it's either too bright out or the sky's cloudy...not to mention there's probably rattler's in there, so I can only get so close.
