Default Maxine's 6th

My daughter turned 6 last July 23. In my clumsiness, I had my cam settings all wrong as i was shooting and my off cam flash didn't fire. The original photo turned so under exposed and noisy. This is the best I could do to make this photo worth sharing.

This is Maxine making her birthday wish WITH ALL HER HEART! The expression on her face plus the way she held her hands together as she made her wish was just priceless.

Vincent - what a compromise .. if you hadn't told me about the camera settings, I would have sworn this effect was intentional.. it looks very nice .. and that expression .. wow .. I hope her wish comes true .. again, great job in saving this priceless photo

Thank you Hayward! It's nice to know that you thought it was intentional. I really don't have photoshop skills so that's quite a compliment to start with. heheh.

Just imagine how my initial disappointment was when i reviewed the shot right after i took it. it was like "nnnnoooooOOOOOOooooo!".

I do still have a lot to learn from everyone here in DPS. Anyway, what happened after that, I gave up on my flash and went on without it. Here she is just before blowing the candle out.
