Default Boring Beetle Revisit

We have been working on our back deck this week. Today, we were visited by another boring beetle. This example was a bit smaller than the one featured in my first set.

Boring Beetle 1
My wife thought an image of our visitor would look better on the part of the deck that had been repainted. So we encouraged our friend over to a finished section.

Boring Beetle 2
This guy was very lively. He moved around a lot.

Boring Beetle 3
Some people tire of the paparazzi all to soon. Away he went. (I'd been happier if this image had been a little sharper. Oh Well.)

Thanks for stopping by!

Wow, great captures Tom, what an unusual colour he is. Great detail and even the last one which may be a little out of focus is still very good.. Lol about the paparatzi.

Great job mate.

Dave.

He is not boring at all. I think he is very interesting. I have never seen a beetle like him before (other then your previous posts). He has some long antennae for sure. That last shot is wicked cool! Great capture!

Thanks Dave, That was his second flight. The first flight went right past my head and I nearly fell off the steps!

He was fine until the third shot when he decided to fly....okay...I've had a lot of practice running from just such as he. Nice shots.
