Default wrought iron

Hey guys, running around today but took this snap on the way .. really old wrought iron fence that surrounds an area of a pioneer cemetery west of town.. not sure of the significance of the work, but found the detail interesting

The contrast between the the dark rust and the bright green is really striking. What an interesting piece. The tree and the lamb underneath are so intricate for such a heavy metal. It brings to mind the statement: They don't make things like they used to. Thanks for taking time to photograph it and share it here with us.

interesting iron gate. was better if u can add more detail on the gate and maybe other composition. the green colour make a nice contrast between nature life and cold iron.

Great capture Ian. I have to agree with Lindy. The contrast of the two coloures is excellent. I love the way you have captured the weather beaten textures of the Ironwork. Super work buddy and I like the perspective too.

Dave.

Ian, this is a really pleasing shot to look at...the contrast is great. I really like it for what that's worth.

That is some amazing craftmanship. You don't find it in todays factory made stuff. Great find, and you captured it very well. Thanks for sharing.

I don't know for sure but, In the Bible, a lamb is very often used to signify the Christ. Any way you look at it I think there's some significance to it and you made the wrought iron look just wonderful in your image. Great job mate.
