Default First post & first fireworks

I recently bought a Nikon D90, which was big step up for me. Really having fun learning how it all works.

I wanted to take some pictures of fireworks over the weekend but didn't know how. I did what any normal person would do and googled "how to take pictures of fireworks" and landed on this site. I've got a long way to go but am pretty pleased with this first attempt.

Here are a few of the results:

I would have to agree... for a first attempt, these are really quite nice. I'm sort of partial towards the second one. It's got a real nice symmetry to it. Keep up the good work... and stick with this website. I can't believe how much I've learned in a few short months.
