Default My First Model...

This is my Niece, she is my very first model for my Nikon D60. I am only a beginner so was too chicken to use manual settings this day so had it on auto. Will be playing with Manual settings on my next day out though. She is a cutie but I am a bit biased of course

I love these two shots.
The composition in both is spot on.

thanks for the comments. I did take a lot of not-so-good shots to get these two that I like the most. I am hoping to join the local photography club soon so I can get some hands-on help with using manual settings and practice practice practice.

actually I would love to enlarge the first shot for a gift for her mother but i notice that the closer you look the more you notice the mess on her face from the biscuit she ate. Does it take much to edit these kind of pics? I don't have editing software yet but will get some soon.

She is adorable! Some great candid shots you got here. Looking forward to seeing more as you brave Manual Mode. Isn't learning and playing so much fun?

Hi Dee ... I took the liberty of uploading your photo and clone out the biscuit evidence .. I sharpened the eyes up a little .. that's it .. I left everything else intact .. I hope you don't mind .. you can print this copy or delete it ..
