I have taken a few pictures of swans before and they can be really difficult especially in the sun due to their bright white feathers blowing out the picture.
Anyway, I was walking along the riverside down in 'The Forest of Dean' when I saw this fella on the water. After some subtle persuasion and a little Photoshop I managed this picture which although not any master piece I feel has turned out ok.

Thanks for the comments.
I have been taking every photo in RAW now so that at least gives me plenty of adjustment back home. To be honest, Im able to save quite a few otherwise wasted photos. I cant bring myself to used jpeg any more now I have got used to RAW. Carl
