Default Devils Tower - Through the trees

Devils Tower

Devils Tower National Monument, Wyoming

As promised here is another picture from our weekend adventure.

Fun Fact: Devils Tower was the first national monument established in 1906.

As always you comments are always welcome.

Thanks for looking,
-Tom

That's a really nice one. Love the depth of color and the spatial feeling. Almost like I'm actually at the base looking up. Great work.

Nice shot Tom!

Is this the same mountain that was featured in "Close Encounters of the Third Kind"?

Sure looks like it!

I like the way it's framed by the two trees in the foreground.

Thank you every one for the great feedback.

Yes, I have been told that this is the mountain from close encounters of the third kind. However, I have not actually seen the movie myself. Perhaps I should add it to the netflix queue.
