Nice action shots there Bill... and just round the corner from where I live.

Where about in the park is the cricket ground? I keep meaning to go to the mountain bike trail and gets some action shots.

You got some great stop action shots here Bill. I like number two where the fielder is just going down. Ah, cricket at its best Bill. Nicely done.

Jake.

Top man Bill, three excellent shots of what looks like two excellent shots. Could that be a straight drive in the first two, and neatly fielded off his own bowling, and a push into the covers for the last one ?
Who cares, its 4.00 pm and time tea and cucumber sandwiches

Hi, if you enter from Pollokshaws Road and follow the path/road the cricket ground is on the left.

It`s strange how pictures come about Jake, I went to the park primarily to take the highland cows which I love, went for a walk along the river, came to the cricket ground, took the pictures. I was lucky there was a game on.

Hi Beach, concentrating on picture taking, never saw where the ball went. My father, who loved cricket use to take me here as a boy, my Gran stayed in Shawlands and the park was just a little walk away. Nostalgia?

These are great captures...This also has to be the most complex game man ever created. I watch the bbc
sports just so I can learn some new Cricket terms and become more confused...No wonder they came up with the saying "Thats not Cricket" Nothing could be cricket!
