Default Collage.

This is my first attempt at a collage theme, i was looking for inspiration for the photography assessment task at school, and i flicked collage and a swag of other things, and saw some repeating images things going, so i was like hmm.. thats what im doing.

and this is what i came up with. the back ground was some fun to make, i wanted something random and out there, but i could get what i wanted using the mouse and Photoshop, so i got the old dSLR out and sat it on my Photoshop for dummies book aimed it at the wall, got a desk lamp. set the shutter speed to 5 seconds, the aperture to F/36, ISO to 100. set the shutter delay for 5 seconds, got my lamp, and sat on the floor next to where i aimed the camera at, when i heard the mirror flap, i shone the light at the camera and drew a square box. i then opened it in Photoshop, and liked only one corner (after applying various filters), so i took out some guide lines found what 1/4 was, selected that, then selected everything but, hit DELETE, then reslected what i wanted, copy/paste, then flipped it and moved it so i had the same corner 4 times, and bingo.

ill admit, i could have done better with the select tool on the center image, i used a 20 pixel feather and draw a rough outline.

enjoy.
