Default Long time, no see

Hello fellow DPS Users,

I have not shown face in a very long time on these forums and that is only one persons fault - mine.
I have been on a foreign exchange just outside Chicago, IL the last 11 months and will be going home (to Denmark, Europe) in just about a month.

Therefore I thought I'd share some pictures with you guys and girls as I am wrapping things up over here and getting ready to head home.

Comments are as usual more than welcome !

This first picture I am going to share was taken at a White Sox game a couple of weeks ago. I went with a bunch of friends and around the 3rd inning my girlfriend and I went out to see if the sun was setting and I stumbled over this picture, while talking to my girlfriend. I stopped talking and took the picture, and it turned out pretty good, if you ask me at least.
Please feel free to share you thoughts!

Reflection

Camera: Nikon Coolpix S610
Exposure: 0.004 sec (1/250)
Aperture: f/4.2

The second picture was taken downtown Chicago when my mother was visiting back in March. For you who know or have been in Chicago, this building is located on Michigan Ave., down by The Farmers, right around the Chicago Tribune building (I think - Correct me if I'm wrong.)
Again, please feel free to share your thoughts.

Sky high

Camera: Nikon D80
Exposure: 0.001 sec (1/800)
Aperture: f/4.5
Focal Length: 35 mm

Thank you for looking!

Hi Sander and welcome back. Great idea to use the mirror to show the sunset and what a crystal clear image it is too. The second one uses an excellent perspective and the contrast of the building with the lovel blues sky is so good.
Looks like you are back with a bang. Nice set of photograhs.

Jake.

I like how at first glance the first picture seems like a typical sunglasses shot, and then you keep looking and get kind of surprised by the interesting scene that's reflected in the lenses!

Interesting perspective on the second one, especially the way it's kind of diagonal rather than your typical straight shot. Fab job.
